The Leadspace MCP connects your AI assistant directly to Leadspace's B2B data. Instead of switching tabs and copying details between tools, you just ask, for example "Enrich Acme Corp" or "Find the VP of Sales at Acme and get her email", and the answer comes straight back in your chat.
It works inside the AI tools you already use, such as Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT. You ask in plain language and Leadspace does the lookup behind the scenes. Setup takes a couple of minutes.

Before you start: create a free Leadspace account
The MCP is available to anyone with a Leadspace account. If you already have one, including through the Sidekick browser extension, skip to the next step.
- Sign up at sidekick.leadspace.com using your work email. Personal email addresses aren't accepted.
- Use that email and password to sign in when you connect the MCP.
Note: if you already use the Leadspace Sidekick browser extension, use the same account.
Connect it to your AI
Every client uses the same server address:
https://sidekick.leadspace.com/mcp/v1
Whenever a client shows Client ID or Client Secret fields, leave them blank. You only ever sign in with your Leadspace login, and you always complete that sign-in yourself in your browser.
Claude (web and desktop app)
- Open Settings > Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Leadspace, paste the address above, and leave the OAuth fields blank.
- Click Connect, then sign in with your Leadspace login when the browser window appears.
That's it. Start a chat and ask away.
Claude Code
- Add the server:
claude mcp add --transport http leadspace https://sidekick.leadspace.com/mcp/v1 - In Claude Code, run
/mcp, select leadspace, then Authenticate. - Sign in with your Leadspace login in the browser window that opens.
Cursor
- Go to Settings > MCP > Add server and paste the address above.
- Authenticate with your Leadspace login when prompted.
ChatGPT
Custom connectors use ChatGPT Developer Mode, available on ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. Actions that change data, such as saving lists or exporting, are available on Business, Enterprise and Edu.
- Turn on Developer Mode. On Business, an admin enables it under Workspace Settings. On Enterprise or Edu, look under Settings > Apps > Advanced settings.
- Go to Settings > Apps and click Create (it may show as Add custom MCP server).
- Enter Name: Leadspace, URL: the address above, Authentication: OAuth.
- Click Create and sign in with your Leadspace login.
- In a new chat, choose Leadspace from the tools menu, or @mention it.
Other MCP clients
Leadspace works with any MCP-compatible client that supports remote servers and OAuth sign-in. Point it at the address above and sign in with your Leadspace login. For technical setup, see the Leadspace MCP Developer Guide.
Using the Leadspace MCP
Things to ask
Once connected, talk to your assistant normally. You don't need to name any tools.
| Role | What you might ask |
|---|---|
| Anyone | "Enrich jane.doe@acme.com and tell me about her company." |
| Sales | "Find VPs of Sales at US software companies with 500+ employees, show me the top 10, then get the email for the first one." (Pro and above) |
| Sales | "Any buying signals at Acme? Who else should I talk to there?" (Pro and above) |
| Marketing | "Save marketing directors in Germany at 1,000+ employee companies as a list called Q4 DACH." (Pro and above) |
| RevOps | "Enrich this list of inbound sign-ups and flag the ones at companies over 1,000 employees." |
| Anyone | "What's my Leadspace credit balance?" |
What costs credits?
Looking things up and searching are free. You only spend credits to reveal a contact detail.
| What you ask for | Cost |
|---|---|
| Company profile, person profile, search, lists, signals | Free |
| Reveal a business email | 1 credit |
| Reveal phone numbers (direct-dial and mobile together) | 3 credits |
| Check a company's buying intent | Free |
| Check your balance, plan or notifications | Free |
Good to know about credits
- One balance everywhere. The MCP uses the same credits as the Sidekick extension and the Leadspace website. A contact revealed on one is free on the others.
- No charge for missing data. If a detail isn't on file, you aren't charged. Revealing the same detail again later is free.
- Cost check first. Before revealing many contacts at once, your assistant can show the total cost and whether your balance covers it.
- Starter plan: 25 credits per day. Unused credits don't carry over, and the allowance resets at midnight UTC.
- Paid plans (Solo, Pro, Squad, Enterprise) have a larger monthly allowance.
- Bonus credits (for example from referrals) carry over and are used after your plan's allowance runs out.
- At 0 credits, lookups, search and anything you've already revealed keep working. New reveals wait until your credits reset or you upgrade.
Tips for the best results
- Be specific. A full name plus the company works far better than a name alone.
-
Use standard LinkedIn links that start with
www.linkedin.com/in/. If you copied a country version such asau.linkedin.com, change it towww. - Add context such as industry or location when a company name is common.
- Keep working in the same chat. Your assistant remembers the company or list you're looking at, so you can ask follow-ups.
- Confirm before changes. Your assistant asks you before it spends credits, deletes a list, or invites or deactivates a user.
Troubleshooting
- Don't see Leadspace tools? Make sure you finished signing in and the connector shows as Connected. If Leadspace released new features, disconnect and reconnect to see them.
- Can't sign in? Use your Leadspace work email and password. If you don't have an account yet, sign up first.
- "Requires a Pro plan or above"? Search, lists, signals and export are included from the Pro plan up. Lookups and reveals work on every plan.
- "Sending requests faster than your plan allows"? Wait about a minute and try again. Nothing was charged.
- "Not enough credits"? Wait for your credits to reset, earn bonus credits in the Sidekick extension (target-audience setup, CRM connection or referrals), or upgrade in Settings > Plan & Usage on the website.
- Still stuck? Email support@leadspace.com.
