Leadspace processes customer personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 in the course of providing the services (“Personal Information and “CCPA” respectively).
What is CCPA?
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Leadspace is required to disclose any instances of "selling" of "personal information" and offer California residents an easy right to opt out of "personal information selling" after January 1, 2020. The term "personal information" is broadly defined to cover any information that may directly or indirectly identify a person or household.
As of January 1, 2020, Leadspace acknowledges and agrees with the following:
No Information Selling. Leadspace does not retain, use or disclose any Personal Information except as necessary to perform services solely for customers, or as permitted under the CCPA. Leadspace shall not have, derive or exercise any rights or benefits regarding Personal Information. Vendor must not sell any Personal Information.
Leadspace represents and warrants that it understands the rules, restrictions, requirements and definitions of the CCPA and, agrees to refrain from taking any action that would cause any transfers of Personal Information to or from customers to qualify as "selling personal information" under the CCPA.
