Setting up Leadspace Sidekick is easy, and grants you bonus credits you can use to unlock data for LinkedIn Contacts.
This article will walk you through the initial setup of Leadspace Sidekick.
Install & Setup Chrome Extension
Navigate to the Google Chrome Web Store and search for Leadspace Sidekick. Install the Chrome extension.
Go to the puzzle piece icon in Chrome which is your extension manager. Find Leadspace Sidekick and "pin" to your browser (recommended)
Open the Leadspace Sidekick Extension and select the Sign up link
Enter your company email address and choose a password. Note you must use your company email domain and not a webmail like Gmail or Hotmail.
Create your password and Continue. You will receive an email to activate your account.
Select the Verify email button and then select I've verified my email button in the Sidekick app. You can also resend the email if you did not receive it. Please check your Spam folder if needed.

Setup Target Customers & ICP
Once you have completed the installation and signed in, you will be prompted to create your target audience. This is essentially the onboarding for the app where you can define the type of company you work for and the target customers and contacts that fit your selling motions.
This allows you to use powerful Sidekick features that incorporate AI, Fit Scoring and Buying Group Discovery. However, this step is 100% optional and you can skip each step throughout.
Select the Get Started button
Define your Role: Choose your current company role and how you heard about Sidekick (optional).
Tell us about your company: Enter the name of your company and Leadspace will search our database to find the best match.
What are you selling?: Choose the products and services tailored to your company to help us find the best fit prospects for your outreach. You can also choose your Avg. Contract Value and Primary Buying Motion from the dropdowns.
Leadspace will auto-select some options based on what we know from your company's data in our database.
Who are you targeting?: Tell us what type of companies you are targeting in terms of size, revenue, location, and industry. You can multi-select options in this step and again, Leadspace will prefill some data based on what we know.
Who do you reach out to?: Tell us what type of contacts you want to reach as part of your ideal buying committee. You can select titles, departments, and levels from the dropdowns and use the + Add persona button to add more personas as desired.
You're all set! Once you have completed your target company and buying group audience, you will be rewarded with 35 extra credits and are ready to start using Sidekick with LinkedIn. Select the Open LinkedIn button to get started.
FAQS
Question: Are my target audience selections locked in after I complete the above?
Answer: No. You can always go back and change your target audience by clicking on your profile icon in the top-right and selecting Change Target Audience.
You can also go to profile icon -->Settings --> Onboarding --> Edit Setup
