How are Intent Model "Surge Levels" of No Intent, Low, Medium and High Calculated?
Leadspace calculates the surge levels by measuring the number of different sessions a tracked webpage was visited against the page weight as determined by the customer (Page Visit x Page Weight).
The surge level is then determined using the combined score to provide an output of High, Medium, Low or No Intent as per the project configuration at the time of visit. The surging topics are all webpages that were used in the percentile calculation.
Example
Company A, Company B, and Company C visited your tracked webpages: Webpage 1, Webpage 2, Webpage 3 (all with the same weight).
-
Company A visited all 3 pages multiple times and using the percentile calculation got a score of: 96
-
Company B visited Webpage 1 and Webpage 2 several times and got a score of: 80
-
Company C visited Webpage 1 a few times and got a score of: 20
-
Company D did not visit any page and got a score of: 0.
Customers can customize their Surge Levels but assume we have it configured with the following:
High - min percentile 95
Medium - min percentile 75
Low - min percentile 1
No Intent - min percentile 0
-
Company A domain will get High level with pages (1,2,3) when we query it that week.
-
Company B domain will get Medium level with pages (1,2) when we query it that week.
-
Company C domain will get Low level with pages (1) when we query it that week.
-
Company D domain will get No Intent level with no pages when we query it that week.
