The Settings Tab in Leadspace for Salesforce is responsible for many important configuration settings.
Authentication
Program ID: Sent to a designated user via email at your company during implementation. This is the Leadspace internal ID for your API token for LS4SF.
Secret (Provided by Leadspace): This is the token/API key which is also sent to a designated user at your company.
Intent Authentication
These are only applicable if you have purchased custom intent models from Leadspace. If you are interested, please contact your CSM or visit https://support.leadspace.com and submit a support ticket.
You can reference the Leadspace for Salesforce: Weekly Intent article for setup information.
Intent Program ID: Sent to a designated user via email at your company during implementation. This is the Leadspace internal ID for your API token for LS4SF INTENT ONLY integration.
Intent Secret (Provided by Leadspace): This is the token/API key which is also sent to a designated user at your company.
Configurations
Email Addresses: You can use , as a delimiter to add your company users who would like to receive LS4SF notification emails for things like completed sync definitions.
Number of Allowed Transactions: This is the max number of transactions that LS4SF will allow for any single sync definition you create. The max recommended value is 500,000.
Record Bulk Size: This is the number of records each bulk will contain. Options range from 5 - 200. Each Sync Activity will be broken down into individual bulks of the size you set here. For example, if you are running 5,000 records through enrichment and you have the bulk size set to 200, there will be one sync activity with 25 bulks, each with 200 records.
- Best practice is to keep your bulks at the higher end (200-500) if you have smaller total records, and lower (20 to 100) if you have higher total records to enrich.
- If you run into any errors or timeouts with larger sync definitions, try lowering the bulk size and running your sync job again.
Enable Logs: This toggle allows LS Logs to record info and errors in the LS Logs tab. We would recommend having this toggle ENABLED.
Event Based Trigger: This toggle enables the 'Event Based' Sync Definition type in Sync Definitions. We would recommend having this toggled ENABLED, but turn off when you are running large 'Run Once' jobs.
Endpoints
Each of the endpoints here represent a different Leadspace endpoint that is configured during implementation. These are a direct connection to the Leadspace integrations and APIs that power Leadspace for Salesforce.
Please refer to the Leadspace for Salesforce: Integration Tutorial.
Action Buttons
Update Profile Field Security: This will reset the field security of all profiles to their default. It is not recommended to select this option unless you speak with Leadspace Support and/or your SFDC System Admin beforehand.
Test Connection & Save: This is the main 'Save' button to select when you changed any of the values in the Settings tab. This will run a connection test to endpoints, URLS, and tokens as well as save your changes for things like Max Transaction and Bulk sizes.
Once you click this button, you will get a yellow confirmation at the top of the page indicating Success, or if there are any setup issues.
Reset All Output Mappings: This will reset ALL object (lead, contact, account) output mappings. It is not recommended to select this option unless specifically designated by your System Admin.
Run LS Tests: This will run tests on your Account, Lead, and/or Contact setup in LS4SF.
Update LS Statuses: This will update all LS package statuses
Uninstall Audience Sync
In the event that you need to uninstall the Leadspace for Salesforce package, you will first need to delete all package Permission Sets. This link will start the process and should only be selected if you need to uninstall the package.
