Leadspace offers Address Validation for input values provided by our customer’s database, with the goal to validate and normalize all the input Addresses.
Address Validation can indicate if the input address value exists, regardless of its affiliation with the input company.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Address Validation is only for the Company address, not for Person address.
- Regardless if we validated the address or not, the Enrichment Status will not change.
- The Company street and zip will be used to validate the Address. We highly recommend including Company Postal Code if possible.

Once Address Validation is enabled, two (2) additional fields will return in your enrichment output:
- Input Company Address Validation Status
- Normalized Input Company Address
1) Input Company Address Validation Status
The Input Company Address Validation Status will display the status of the validation result.

2) Normalized Input Company Address
The Normalized Input Company Address value will display the recommended updated address if found.
Depending on the result Leadspace receives for the Company Address:
- Blank Field: Leadspace did not receive a confirmed address.
- Populated Field: Leadspace did receive a confirmed address for both Valid and Invalid (status) addresses and provided the normalized input address.
The normalized address will be on the building number level. More granular information like suite, level, floor, lot, apartment, and unit will not appear in the normalized address field.
